The
Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability, New
Delhi, presents an in-depth analysis of the various
allocations and policy pronouncements of the Union Budget
2005-06. The report focuses on allocations and proposals
relating to Agriculture, Rural Employment Generation
and Poverty Alleviation, Education, Health, Socially
Marginalised Groups, Women and Children, and those relating
to Resource Mobilisation. In particular, it focuses
attention on the implications of the budgetary proposals
from the perspective of the poor and marginalised people.
