Detainees during the Pandemic*

The
current central government does not feel the need to
follow the practice of releasing prisoners, thus displaying
a tremendous disregard for human rights. Most of the
detainees, who are being held in the coronavirus infected
jails, have not been convicted of any crime and are
innocent citizens; many are even senior citizens with
severe comorbidities, which makes them extremely vulnerable.
