Summer
School in Development Economics
The Azim Premji University in collaboration with the
Institute for New Economic Thinking is organising
a one week summer workshop, from 9th to 15th July
2012 in Bangalore. The summer school is open to students
enrolled in Ph.D. programmes from around the country.
In the one-week summer workshop students will be exposed
to the work and ideas in development of 10-12 invited
scholars from universities in India and abroad. Over
the course of the workshop, the students will get
an opportunity to interact with scholars and practitioners
from different countries.
Applications are invited from students enrolled in
Ph.D. programmes for participating in the workshop.
There is no cost to participate, and room and board
and travel will be provided to the participants. The
admitted class will be restricted to 25-30 students.
